Earth Day Poem:
This is our planet so let's save our planet and promise today we will not cut our trees.
We will keep our garbage in the bin.
We can make our earth beautiful if we care about that.
Q. What is Earth Day?
Earth Day, celebrated on April 22nd, is a day to raise awareness about environmental issues and encourage actions to protect the Earth. It reminds us of the importance of sustainability and inspires us to make eco-friendly choices every day.
Q. Why is it Important?
Earth Day is important because it raises awareness about environmental issues and motivates people to take action to protect our planet.
Q. What is pollution?
Pollution is when harmful substances get into the air, water, or land. These substances can come from cars, factories, and litter. Pollution can make the air dirty, the water unsafe to drink, and harm plants and animals.
Q. What is Deforestation?
Deforestation is when forests are cut down or removed. This often happens to make room for buildings, farms, or roads. Deforestation can harm animals that live in forests and affect the balance of nature.
Q. What is climate change?
Climate change is when the Earth's climate, or weather over a long period of time, is changing. This can make some places hotter, some colder, and cause more extreme weather like storms and floods. Climate change is happening because of things people do, like burning fossil fuels.
Q. How to Reduce Waste?
Reduce means to use less of something.
When we reduce, we use less stuff, which helps make less waste. For example, we can reduce waste by using both sides of a piece of paper or turning off lights when we're not using them.
Q. How to reuse waste?
Reuse means to use something again instead of throwing it away.
When we reuse, we find new ways to use things instead of getting rid of them. For example, we can reuse a plastic bottle as a pencil holder instead of throwing it away.
Q. How to recycle waste?
Recycle means to turn something old into something new.
When we recycle, we collect things like paper, plastic, and metal and send them to a place where they can be made into new things. For example, old newspapers can be recycled into new paper products.
Let's make every day Earth Day! Remember the three Rs: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. Use less, find new ways to use things again, and recycle whenever you can. Every small action helps our planet!
